Odele Habets
Odele facilitates the Albany Youth Ecosystem Steering Group and volunteers with Albany Community Action Trust, where she oversees the Trust’s daily operations. She is also the Senior Pastor at Albany Baptist Church and a trustee of the Global Fellowship of the Leprosy Mission. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and fishing on the Waitematā Harbour.

Max calder-Watson

Max Calder-Watson has more than 25 years experience in politics and education. He has worked alongside communities in South Auckland, South America and South Korea. He is currently a Year 8 Homeroom teacher and Kai Manaaki Kapa Haka at Albany Junior High School
Monica Sharma is the Community Broker for the Upper Harbour Local Board area. Passionate about community-led development, her focus is on joining the dots between community aspirations and community-led action. Monica is particularly interested in opportunities for children and young people to be more involved in local projects and democracy.

Sarah wakeford
Sarah Wakeford has over 25 years of teaching experience and she advocates for the transformative effects of environmental and service learning on youth wellbeing. She has a range of connections with local Albany based organisations and enjoys weekend conservation work, donating her time to restoration projects.
Amanda isada
Kia ora! My name is Amanda. I'm from Harbour Sport and I manage the Albany Community Hub and ensure that it is an accessible, vibrant and safe. I organize, liaise and oversee various community workshops, programmes and events. I am usually out and about connecting and networking with community members and businesses that share the same vision of bringing Albany residents closer together.
